Our annual conference is held in Northwest Arkansas during the fourth quarter and transmitted via webcast.  The annual conference will present a keynote speaker from a corporation that utilizes corporate chaplains, didactic sessions led by corporate chaplains, a banquet and a scheduled tour of a local corporation utilizing CIC chaplains. Conference attendance is required by all members either in person or via webcast.

Dean Newberry Award: During our banquet there will be a presentation of the Dean Newberry Award to a Corporate Chaplain nominated by his or her peers for demonstrating outstanding relational qualities in the spirit of Dean Newberry Jr.. Chaplain Dean Newberry served in the Air Force during World War II and also served as a Hudson Foods Chaplain for 17 years. Dean was a pioneer in the corporate chaplaincy movement and loved walking alongside the workers and listening to their stories. Dean is a graduate of DeQueen Arkansas High School, Quachita Baptist University and Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary. A family member will present this award in Dean’s honor.
